BinaBola Privacy Policy
Last updated: 22 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data BinaBola collects when you use binabola.id, BinaBola Statistics, BinaBola Statistics AI and BinaBola Venue Cam, including a player account, why we use it, who can see it and what you can ask us to do with it. BinaBola is run by PT Bina Olahraga Teknologi, based in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia, which handles personal data under Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 27 of 2022).
Questions or requests: email [email protected] or message us on WhatsApp.
What we collect
Venue Cam recordings and match statistics
Venues that work with BinaBola Venue Cam record the sessions played on their fields. Everyone on the field can appear in the video. From a recording we make match statistics: events such as goals, shots and passes, where they happened on the pitch, and a rating for each player in the lineup. Players are identified by team and shirt number, not by face: we do not use face recognition.
BinaBola Statistics
For matches that teams and organisers ask us to analyse, we keep the names, shirt numbers, positions and photos they give us, with each player's statistics.
"This is me" without an account
When you pick your player on a Venue Cam match page, your phone keeps a random identifier in a cookie so the page remembers your choice. We store only a scrambled (hashed) form of it with the player you chose.
Player account
- Your name, email address and photo. With Google sign-in we receive these from Google with your Google account ID.
- Your profile link, main position and, if you add it, your WhatsApp number.
- The matches you add to your profile and their statistics.
- Which rules you agreed to when you signed up, and when.
- A sign-in session for each device you use.
Messages and usage
We keep the WhatsApp messages and emails you send us, for example unlock requests. When you use the site we record which pages you open and which buttons you press with a random identifier, using PostHog, to learn what works and what does not. Our servers see your internet address; we use it, or a scrambled form of it, to keep the service safe, for example to limit repeated sign-in attempts.
How we use it
- To provide our services: recordings, statistics, player profiles and venue leaderboards.
- To sign you in and keep your account and its sessions safe.
- To answer your requests, including unlocks you ask for on WhatsApp.
- To find and fix problems and to improve the site.
We rely on your consent for a player account, which you give when you tick the rules at sign-up, on our agreements with venues, teams and organisers for recordings and statistics, and on our legitimate interest in keeping the service safe and working.
What is public
A player profile is public. Anyone can see your name, photo, profile link, main position, the matches you added and their statistics, and your place on BinaBola venue leaderboards. Your email address and WhatsApp number are never shown. Match videos and clips stay behind each venue's access rules, and statistics for a locked player stay locked.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with:
- Google, when you sign in with Google;
- Resend, which sends our sign-in codes by email;
- PostHog, which records how the site is used;
- the hosting and cloud storage providers that keep our videos and data;
- WhatsApp (Meta), when you message us there;
- the venue that recorded a session, and the team or organiser that asked for a match's statistics, for that session or match;
- authorities, when the law requires it.
Some of these providers keep data outside Indonesia. We use providers that protect it.
How long we keep it
We keep your account until you delete it, and sign-in codes only for a short time after they are used or expire. We keep recordings and statistics while we provide them to the venue, team or organiser. If you delete your account, we remove your profile and the list of matches on it; the recordings and match statistics stay with the venue or team they belong to.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, stop using it, or give you a copy. You can withdraw your consent by deleting your account in its settings or by contacting us. You can also complain to the authority responsible for personal data protection in Indonesia.
Children
Players under 18 may use a player account only if a parent or guardian knows and agrees. A parent or guardian can ask us to delete a child's account at any time.
Cookies
- The "This is me" cookie remembers the player you chose on a Venue Cam match. It lasts 400 days.
- The sign-in cookie keeps you signed in on that device.
- PostHog stores a random identifier in your browser to count visits.
Security
We protect data with encrypted connections, access limited to the people who need it, and sign-in codes and session tokens stored only in scrambled form.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and show the date above. If a change affects what we do with your account, we will ask you to agree again when you next sign in. See also our Terms of Use.
